I’m a fan of women’s college softball. The game is fast paced. The women are phenomenal athletes. And they are having a blast playing a game they love.

I love the cheers and chants and non-stop chatter. I love the celebrations. I love the joy with which they play.

That my team, the Oklahoma Sooners, have become historically dominant, is just an added bonus.

I’m also a Jordy Bahl fan. Amazing athlete. Dominant pitcher. And, in a pinch, she’s an insanely speedy base runner.

Her confidence level is off the charts. The way she struts and prowls about the mound reminds me of the cocky way Liam Gallagher owns the concert stage. He’s good. He knows he’s good. Deal with it. Bahl has a similar presence.

So congratulations to the Oklahoma Sooners on a dominant run to the 2023 NCAA Women’s Softball Championship.
